Who We Are

Scott Bailey, President of the Sandler Regional Training Center in Irvine, has been involved in sales and sales training since 1977. His most recent career focus has been helping sales professionals develop and hone their skills through his affiliation with the Sandler Sales Institute® and its nationally-recognized and proven system of selling.

Bailey says, "Mastering the many aspects of professional selling requires on-going training, coaching, and,of course, hard work and commitment by the client.

We recognize that selling, just like any other skill, cannot be learned at a one-day seminar. Approaches that involve behavior modification, attitudes about one's self and selling, and proven, effective techniques, are all utilized in our training."

Scott describes the President's Club and answers the question: "Why should you give us a call?"

Through SSI, Bailey also offers special sales training for technical professionals, such as consultants, engineers, accountants, and health professionals who find themselves in a selling environment with little or no formal sales training.

Bailey lives in the Orange Country area of Southern California. He graduated from California State University, Northridge with a B.A. in biology and received and M.B.A. from Pepperdine University while working full-time as a sales specialist for a major corporation selling to the medical industry. In 1992, he was recognized as a Sales Specialist of the Year, the only salesperson to have received the distinction in the western United States.

He continues to work with Southern California companies like Jeff Hiatt, WinDor, Care Credit (GE), and Sonnet Technologies.

He helps them build their sales teams, improve the sales management, create accountability systems and focus on growing sales revenue. He says: "The Sandler Selling System® is the only sales training system that consistently deals with attitudes, techniques and behaviors. This combined with regular reinforcement training gives the Sandler students the greatest opportunity to improve their selling skills. Classes, coaching and tracking behavior provide the necessary supports for successful growth and development."

Will talks about the importance of watching what people do rather than listening to what they say. Planning horizons change and require shorter sales development time. When the order-takers run out of orders, sales people start selling. Through SSI, Crist works with CEOs / Presidents / Owners to develop the sales force with a particular emphasis on the sales management process. Since successful sales managers and successful sales people have different skill sets, both need to develop their attitudes, beliefs and behaviors to maximize the momentum of the sales force.

Will and his wife, Mary, live in Laguna Beach, CA. He has degrees from Texas Christian University, the Episcopal Theological School and the University of Massachusetts. He is active in the Episcopal Church and local Interfaith activities. He regularly speaks to groups about communication, selling, management, problem-solving and ways people can take greater responsibility for working with other people.

Quote Will's unique ability to merge psychology, business savvy, and decades of experience make Will a tremendous asset. I am glad to have him on my side. Whether consulting on high stakes negotiations or on how to overcome a large sales challenge, Will has proven himself to be a trusted adviser. I hired Will as a business consultant in 2008 for several projects. He helped me produce great results. He is a creative expert. Quote
